Sheida Ashley, Ph.D. -- President

I am a Licensed Psychotherapist practicing here in Century Glen for the last 27 years. Since purchasing my home in 1999, I  have built deep and meaningful relationships with many of my neighbors over the span of 23 years,  in particular through the interactions of our children and our pets. I have always appreciated the safety and comfort that our little neighborhood has to offer us in the midst of a major metropolitan City of Los Angeles. However, in the past several years I have witnessed a surge of crime and unwanted interactions that have caused me great concern for our neighborhood.  In light of recent legislation from Sacramento (SB 9 & SB 10), we stand to have developers taking over our charming single family neighborhood, and over developing small lots into multi units that tower over our houses, and intrude into our private backyards/sanctuaries.  These events caused me to attend HOA meetings regularly in the past several years and take on the role of a Block Captain for Benecia & Kerwood. Why I want to serve as a  Century Glen HOA Boardmember is to ensure continued safety & enjoyment of  our neighborhood as it always has been. I want to protect our home values by keeping our Single Family pocket out of the reach of greedy developers. I am eager to have us create a strong "Neighborhood Watch" program collaborating with the LAPD and our Lead Officer Balisteros  to make that a reality. What I also offer to our Board is my deep understanding & experience of the Los Angeles Building & Safety procedures, organization, and protocols. I have the ability to guide our Board or/and residents needing help with maneuvering the roadblocks placed by the LADBS. I am happy to serve my community as a board member.

Sara Margoshes -- VIce President

Hi, I'm Sara Margoshes. Century Glen has been home to me and my family since 1997. We feel it’s an incredible neighborhood! With two degrees from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, for many years I’ve worked as a Hollywood Literary Agent, mostly representing Writers. We renewed our HOA Membership in 2019, and I’ve been volunteering on the HOA's Board of Directors since April 2021. Beginning in October 2020, I've also been volunteering as a Block Captain. There is so much to achieve and accomplish as a Board Member functioning as a neighborhood-liaison, such as increasing membership and participation, hearing neighbors' concerns and pleasantries and acting on them when possible, building upon the re-launched Neighborhood Watch, considering and negotiating on traffic and construction developments, communicating reasonably with local representatives including WNC, CD5, LADOT, and LAPD, etc. I’m looking forward to continuing to volunteer with a focus on Century Glen community's best interests.

Marsue MacNicol -- Secretary

I am a fifth generation Californian, born and raised in Los Angeles.  After graduating from Santa Clara University, I moved to New York where I worked as an Arts Administrator primarily in non profit professional theatre.  In 1991 my husband and I returned to my hometown.  Most recently I spent 17 years as a volunteer running the Corie Williams Scholarship Fund (created by Corie’s mother in her memory). Corie was a soon-to -be High School graduate, when she was killed on an LA city bus in 1997.  We raised money in order to provide scholarships to underserved students going to college.  We have lived in our home in Century Glen since 1999.  For the past year I have been the Secretary of the HOA working to help preserve and improve this neighborhood we all love.  My hope going forward is that we can inspire more of our neighbors to do the same.

Mike Glick -- Treasurer

Hello; I’m Mike Glick, born and raised in West Los Angeles area. I have lived in the Century Glen area since 1996. After graduating Beverly Hills High and then San Diego State University,  I went on to own a motion picture catering company for most of my adult life. I joined the Century Glen board 8 years ago. I am currently treasurer and on the traffic committee. I very much enjoy working to make our special Century Glen HOA the most desirable, crime free area in Los Angeles

Richard Molinare -- LA Film/Locations Filming Representative
I am a graduate of California Institute of the Arts and retired after 45 years working in the entertainment industry. This past year,  I volunteered as Century Glen's Liaison with FOX/Disney’s various location departments for use of our neighborhood as its virtual backlot.  The result has been a direct line to upper management at the studio, a stronger relationship with FilmLA, and inconvenience fee contributions to the Century Glen HOA totaling $3,2500.00.  My past HOA experience includes being President of a Santa Monica condo complex.  My most challenging task as president there was dealing with the damage to the building as a result of the devastating 1994 Northridge earthquake.  I was responsible for negotiating a settlement with the building’s insurance carrier, hiring contractors and  supervising the building’s months-long retrofit and rebuild of all the common areas, as well as, dealing with the substantial damage to my unit. Over eleven years ago, my wife and I purchased our home in the south portion of the Century Glen. My family and I feel lucky to be in this amazing neighborhood, and I am happy to contribute to our HOA as a newly elected board member.  I have worked with most of the current board members, and look forward to joining them and representing our CC Glen community with my best effort.

RICHARD'S CORNER -- FILM/LA -- LOCATION MANAGER WRANGLER

So you (well... actually your house or street) want to be on film or TV?

Hi! My name is Richard Molinare, and in addition to being a Board Member, I am your new Film and TV Location Managers and Location Scouts Wrangler.

What that means is that I am the liaison between Film/LA, the Studio, the Production Manager, the Location Scout and the Location Manager who wants to put YOU (your house or street) on Film or TV.

Whenever you get one of those door hangar notices about a film coming to your street, I am the guy to contact.  I am the liaison  who negotiates for a donation nuisance fee for our HOA.  I am also the guy who will let the production crew and location manager know of your complaints or issues regarding safety.

Situated adjacent to Fox Studios and a short drive from Sony Pictures Studios, our beautiful, photogenic, and friendly Century Glen neighborhood has often been the site for the filming of motion pictures and television shows.  Recent examples include ABC-TV’s “Modern Family,” the exterior of a home on Fox Hills Drive is seen as Mitch and Cam's residence; a guest-of-the-week's emergency episode, featuring an apartment complex interior on Tennessee Avenue for Fox TV Studio's "9-1-1."

You can connect with me though the "Contact Us/Board Members" page if you have concerns or want to offer your house as an exterior set for a film or TV production.
